I enjoy running. As I'm on the course, all kinds of thoughts run through my mind. Anything and everything motivates me while focusing on the finish line. This year I want to push myself to make it to the state meet.

When I run, I think mostly about the things around me. I like to look around and enjoy the views and enjoy what I get to run by. I never really figured out why I like running, but I enjoy doing it. While I'm running, sometimes I think "why am I doing this anyways," which always leads to me telling myself "Because it feels good to run". I enjoy running because of the accomplishment that comes from it. I plan on improving a bunch from last year and getting better at running. I want to get faster as well. I plan on doing the best I'm able to do and make sure that I am getting better every day.

When I run, I relax and train myself to get into the rhythm of the run. I remind myself that I have it better than most of my people back where I’m from. Running helps me achieve accomplishments that I’m really not fond of doing, but knowing that it comes with a lot of success and self-esteem. I see the season ending with a lot of pride of the work I put in and of what if I got out of it. My goal is to get top ten in district.

When I'm running through the terrain, I think about everything. I try to keep my mind off the pain and focus on other things. I love to run. I love to feel the wind on my face and watching the world disappear behind me. This year, my goal is to advance, whether that means running one minute faster or winning the race entirely.

When I run, I try to focus on keeping a specific pace. Whenever I start getting tired, I tell myself to keep fighting until the end. Running is a little competitive to me. I’m definitely not the best, but I’m always trying to be better than the previous run and pass the people around me.

When I'm trekking along the path, the only thing I focus on is my breathing. Running brings me joy. How do I see the season ending this year? I foresee the season ending with me going to regionals, beating my best time, and helping my teammates get better

When I run, I like to sing songs in my head. It helps keep me focused. More than anything. running gives me joy. This year I want to push myself to be better, improve my times each race, and push myself over every obstacle.

I don’t focus on a lot when I run. I usually play songs in my head to distract myself. When I do focus, I focus on where I’m going and how far I need to go. I feel accomplished every time I beat a personal record. It makes me keep running to keep getting better. MY GOAL: Break 20 minutes for 3 miles.

When I am alone, running along a path, my mind races through all kinds of thought. I try to keep my focus and trust my ability to run. I run because I want to stay in shape, and it also gives me something that I can easily spend a couple minutes doing. GOALS: I want to be able to run a 5:30 mile and a good time for 3 miles.
